TIN people are Contributors belonging to The Transition Inter-Community Network. They have skill sets that they can share with others and often times may travel and stay at Transitional Communities and help out at Hybrid Co-op Businesses. They might also be sent out to aid in starting these types of new ventures as well for support of the BUD(s) that is founding them.
